• Somer Rochow

    CFO
    Somer Rochow, Platform28’s CFO and Vice President of Professional Services. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. Prior to joining the Platform28 team, Somer enjoyed a varied career path.  She began her career in New York working for Thomson Financial as a health care and biotech consultant. After leaving Wall Street for culinary school, Somer returned to finance, joining Merrill Lynch in Atlanta. In 2007, Somer started her own company, raising funds for hedge funds and private equity. She joined a local family office in 2010, assisting in the creation and operations of a private equity fund and broker dealer. Desiring to get back to managing a “real” business, Somer joined High Road Craft Ice Cream as COO in 2014. Finally, Somer decided to join the Platform28 team in 2015 and has never looked back. She currently lives in the Virginia Highlands area of Atlanta with her husband and two sons, Cash and Tag.

    Mark Ruggles

    Mark Ruggles is CEO and Founder of Platform28. He began his career in New York, working for Lehman Brothers and Prudential Securities. In 2001, Mark founded Platform28 which initially provided B2C telecommunications services. Mark was able to quickly grow the company to become the exclusive provider of Unified Communications services for the State of Georgia and sign on AT&T as a reseller for Platform28. Mark also spearheaded the transformation of Platform28 from its origins of developing hosted telephony applications to its current direction as a full-featured, Cloud Communications Platform. Mark has a unique vision and focuses on increasing usability while streamlining the customer experience. His current focus is on revamping the Platform to make it the most user-friendly and fully featured Cloud Communication Platform on the market.  Mark holds a BA degree in Marketing from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.

    Renny Koshy

    CTO
    Renny Koshy is the CTO of Platform28. He leads the company's technology strategy and provides the vision for the Cloud platform’s feature-set, scalability, and infrastructure. He is also responsible for Cloud Infrastructure Operations. Renny was the Founder and CEO of Rubix, a leading provider of infrastructure, technology and subject matter expertise to global Tier 1 carriers since 2001. Renny joined forces with Platform28 in 2009 via the merger of Rubix and Platform28. He facilitated the transition of Platform28 into a Cloud Communications provider. At Rubix, Renny developed a large scale, distributed real-time call processor used by carriers such as Sprint, AT&T, MCI, IDT, and others, in addition to providing consulting services to global carriers as a Telecom SME. Prior to establishing Rubix, Renny was the Director of Professional Services for Excel Switching Corp, the leading provider of Programmable Telecom Switching equipment. He has over 30 years of experience in providing technological innovation and leadership in a range of industries including financial, data processing, and technology providers for companies such as ADP, Telcordia, Merrill Lynch, and Bloomberg. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from NJIT and was a member of the Albert Dorman Honors College. Renny currently lives in New Jersey and enjoys his time with his wife and four children.

    VP of Customer Experience
    Staci Rinkowski is Platform28’s Vice President of Customer Support. Originally from New Jersey, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Richard Stockton College in New Jersey. Staci leads the Platform28 Customer Support team with a focus on providing excellent Customer experiences.  Staci has been with Platform28 since 2001 and has a passion for learning. She strives to continually improve through continuing education for herself and her team. The Platform28 Support team learns new features inside out in order to ensure a full understanding and learn how these features can best suit the Customer. Staci lives in East Atlanta Village with her dog Parker. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
